In short

The version you'd read at the counter

Cookies do two jobs on this site: keep it working and tell us what's worth improving. Here's each one, what it does, and how to switch it off.

Essentials only by default

The site works with just the essential cookies, nothing marketing fires without a yes.

Analytics, anonymised

We count visits and popular pages. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

Change any time

Your choice isn't permanent, clear site data or ask us and it's reset.

No ad networks

We don't run third-party ad trackers. No Facebook pixel, no retargeting, nothing.

What cookies are on this site

Three categories, nothing more:

  • Essential, keeps your session alive, remembers your cookie choice, and stores your subscription manage-link token. The site genuinely doesn't work without these.
  • Analytics, privacy-friendly analytics that tell us which pages get read and where people leave. IPs are anonymised; we see patterns, not people.
  • Preference, remembers things like your last-viewed suburb page so the site feels less dumb on your second visit.

What we deliberately don't use

No advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. We don't sell or share cookie data with anyone, because there's nothing worth selling, it's anonymous page counts.

The cookie banner

The banner on the homepage sets a single preference cookie when you accept, that's the only way it knows not to ask again. Choosing "Maybe later" sets nothing at all and the banner simply doesn't show on that visit's remaining pages.

How to control cookies

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies, look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking essential cookies will break the order form and the subscription manage link, but everything else degrades gracefully.

To reset your choice on this site, clear cookies for freshbloomexpress.net in your browser and the banner will ask again next visit. Or email us and we'll talk you through it, genuinely, someone will walk you through the settings.

Third-party embeds

One exception worth knowing: the Google Maps embed on the contacts page sets Google's own cookies when the map loads. That's Google doing Google things under their own policy, if you'd rather avoid it, the written address and directions are right there on the page too.

Changes to this policy

If we add a new cookie category we'll update this page and reset the consent banner so you're asked again, no silent opt-ins. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.

Every policy on this page is written by the same people who wrap the bouquets.

Questions

Cookie questions

The bits people actually ask about, answered plainly.

Only the essential ones, the order form needs the session cookie to work. Analytics and preference cookies are fully optional and the site works fine without them.

Clear cookies for this domain in your browser settings, the banner will ask again on your next visit.

Neither. No ad-tech cookies run on this site at all. The Google Maps embed on the contacts page is the only third-party cookie source.

The rest of the fine print, in the same plain language.
