Privacy Policy
How Fresh Bloom Express handles your details, what we collect, why we need it, and what we never do with it.
The version you'd read at the counter
Privacy policies are usually unreadable on purpose. Ours isn't, here's the honest version of how a small florist uses your information.
Only what we need
Name, phone, delivery address, card message. We don't hoover up data we can't use.
Never sold
Your details are never sold, rented or traded. Not now, not ever, not for any price.
See or delete it
Ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, email us and it's done within 30 days.
Photos by consent
Dispatch photos show flowers, not your home's interior. Marketing shots only go out with permission.
What we collect and why
When you order, we collect what's needed to do the job: your name and contact details, the recipient's name and delivery address, the card message you write, and your order history. Payment is processed by our payment provider, we never see or store full card numbers.
If you subscribe, we also keep your delivery day, tier and your no-go list (allergies, pets, colour bans) so every bunch respects it.
How the website tracks you
The site uses cookies for the boring essentials, keeping a session alive, remembering your cookie choice, plus analytics that tell us which pages people actually read. Details live on the cookie policy page.
Who else sees your data
Three categories, all under contract: our payment processor, our SMS provider (delivery notifications), and our email service. Our couriers see the delivery name, address and phone for the run they're on, nothing else. We don't use your recipient's details for marketing; sending someone flowers doesn't sign them up for anything.

How long we keep it
Order records stay for seven years because Australian tax law requires it. Delivery photos are purged after 12 months. If you've never ordered, your details aren't kept at all, an enquiry that goes nowhere is deleted at the end of the quarter.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you everything we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete what we're not legally required to keep. Email freshbloomexpress@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days, usually much faster. If you're an EU or UK resident ordering flowers for someone in Melbourne, the GDPR rights apply too; the details are on our legal page.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS, access to order data is limited to the three staff who need it, and our systems get security updates monthly. If a breach ever affects your data, we tell you directly, not in a blog post you have to find.
Contact about privacy
