GDPR and overseas customers
A good chunk of our orders come from people in Europe and the UK sending flowers to someone in Melbourne. If that's you, the General Data Protection Regulation applies to your personal data, and here's what that means in practice:
- Lawful basis: we process your data to perform a contract (deliver your flowers), that's Article 6(1)(b). Marketing emails only ever run on consent.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, email us and we action it within 30 days.
- Data location: order data is stored in Australia with our systems providers. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on standard contractual clauses.
- Complaints: you can complain to your local EU supervisory authority or to us first, we'd rather fix it ourselves.
The full detail of what we collect and keep sits in our Privacy Policy, read that page alongside this one for the complete picture.

Australian privacy compliance
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) we follow the Australian Privacy Principles: collect only what's needed, use it only for the purpose it was given, keep it secure, and give you access to it. The OAIC is the regulator if you ever need to escalate beyond us.
Consumer guarantees
Our flowers come with the guarantees that can't be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, goods must be of acceptable quality and match their description. Our refunds policy explains how we handle replacements and refunds; it sits on top of your statutory rights, never instead of them.
The fine print in one place
Four policy documents cover how we operate: the Privacy Policy (your data), the Terms of Service (using the site and buying from us), the Cookie Policy (tracking and consent), and Refunds (when money comes back). If any two documents seem to contradict each other, the more customer-favourable reading is the one we honour, that's a deliberate rule, not a cop-out.
