The ground rules

Terms of Service

The ground rules for using freshbloomexpress.net and buying flowers from us, fair, short, and written to be read.

Last updated: October 2026 Fresh Bloom Express, Windsor VIC
In short

The version you'd read at the counter

These terms cover using the website and buying flowers from the studio. The short version is genuinely short, the long version below exists for completeness.

Order = acceptance

Placing an order means you accept these terms and the delivery details you gave us are right.

2pm cut-off

Same-day delivery applies to confirmed orders placed before 2pm, Monday to Saturday.

Substitutions happen

Flowers are a living product, we substitute equal or better when the market changes, and tell you.

Fair use

Don't scrape the site, misrepresent orders, or use our photos elsewhere without asking.

Using this website

The site is provided by Fresh Bloom Express Pty Ltd (ABN 46 207 118 593) for browsing, learning about our services and placing orders. Don't misuse it: no scraping, no automated ordering, no using our photos or copy elsewhere without written permission, and no pretending to be us.

Orders and acceptance

An order is accepted when we confirm it, by email, SMS or phone. Until then it's a request. If we can't fulfil an order (sold-out stems, an address outside our delivery zone, a date we can't hit), we tell you quickly and refund in full.

You're responsible for the delivery details being right, the suburb, the recipient's name, any access notes. If a delivery fails because the address was wrong, we'll redeliver at cost; we can't refund a bouquet that was correctly made and correctly attempted.

Pricing and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Delivery fees show before payment, $12 inner metro, $18 outer, free over $120. Payment is due at order time through our payment processor; we don't take card details over the phone and we never store card numbers.

Delivery terms

Same-day delivery applies to orders confirmed before 2pm, Monday to Saturday, within our metro zone. Sundays run a smaller window. Timed and express deliveries are confirmed per order, a window we confirm is a window we keep, or the delivery fee comes back.

Safe drop in shade is the default when nobody's home. Every bunch travels with a water source, so a couple of hours outside does no harm. Apartments, offices and hospitals go to reception with a photo on hand-off.

Substitutions

Flowers come from a market, not a warehouse. If a stem you chose isn't at standard on the day, we substitute equal or better value and flag the change in your dispatch photo. Focal flowers (roses, peonies, natives) are never downgraded without asking first.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions bill per drop and can be paused or cancelled any time through the manage link in your weekly text, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. Changes made before 8pm the night before apply to the next drop.

Liability

Our liability for any order is capped at the order value, which in practice means replacement or refund. Your Australian Consumer Law rights sit above these terms and are never limited by them. Disputes go to the courts of Victoria, though honestly, we've never had one get near that.

The people behind the policies

Real studio, real people

Every policy on this page is written by the same people who wrap the bouquets.

Questions

Terms questions

The bits people actually ask about, answered plainly.

Before it's made, yes, call or message and we'll change or refund it. Once a bouquet's on the bench we can usually still tweak it; once it's on a courier, it's on its way.

Tell us fast, before dispatch it's a free fix. After a failed attempt caused by a wrong address, redelivery is charged at cost.

Yes, events run on a written quote with deposit terms (30% to hold the date) that override the everyday rules. The quote document is the contract for event work.

The rest of the fine print, in the same plain language.
